Privacy
Cruise UI counts how the site and the components are used, so we know what to build next. We don't sell or share it, and there are no ads.
On the website
- Umami counts page visits without cookies and respects your browser's Do Not Track setting.
- Sabilytics counts page visits on cruiseui.dev.
- PostHog (EU servers) records which buttons and settings are used, such as "Copy prompt" or the theme you pick. Session recording and surveys are off, and we never send your name or email to it.
When you install
Installs are counted anonymously. When the shadcn CLI downloads a component (for example npx shadcn@latest add @cruiseui/button) or you download the AI skill, we record:
- which item was installed,
- the country the request came from,
- whether it came from a command-line tool or a browser (from the user agent),
- a daily anonymous ID: a one-way hash of the request's IP address, the date and a secret. It lets us count unique installers per day without knowing who they are, and it changes every day.
Your IP address is never sent to PostHog or stored, and no profile is created.
Submitting a build
The Submit your build form sends what you enter (your name, email, X handle, site link, screenshot and notes) to us through Netlify Forms, so we can review your build and reply. Analytics only see which AI tool and app type you chose.
